Hi all-
I have gotten through the first 7 days of my climb out of
relapse. It feels like a milestone! 21 meals of sane and
balanced eating add up to a more balanced me overall-
It’s amazing how quickly our chemistry responds to
shifting from junky eating to whole-foods eating.
Everything in me settles down- my sleep improves,
my mind quiets, I am no longer irritable- big benefits
even without any talk of weight loss.
I am not going near a scale- I weigh in once a month, if that,
and that’s more than enough. When you are coming from a
relapse, I would advise focusing more on healthy behaviors than weight-
that way you have lots of things to feel good about.
