Yesterday was my birthday (54 in case you’re curious) and I felt incredibly blessed and loved. Having a birthday during the same week that everything is coming into bloom has always felt very beautiful to me. Expansive, heart-opening, younger than springtime…Everything here is getting that very spring-green, robins are everywhere, forsythia all over my yard (my son Nicky used to call it “For Cynthia” when he was little, we had a neighbor with that name..). Anyways I always spend my birthday making sure to connect with my favorite people, places, and deeply in my senses. I try to be this intentional every day but on my birthday I just do it better it seems.
I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you today, as you know, I only share and recommend things I truly love… but only always.
Favorite Read:
Another beautiful book by a gifted intuitive and author is launching, today. If you don’t know Colette Baron Reid’s work through her Hay House appearances, writing and radio show…catch up! Her new book “The Map” is a treasure and I am absolutely recommending that you read it. There is a unique perspective here with powerful techniques and Colette’s voice is moving and real. She gets it and so will you. Plus this is an unusual book launch… serious prizes from some heavy-hitters in the personal development field (plus me!!) if you buy the book, making it pretty irresistible. You have to at least check it out, I’ve never seen it done this way but the book is good enough to stand alone. This is the biggest author giveaway ever, with over $40,000 of prizes including 2 Kindles, from some of the biggest names in the field of; personal growth, spiritual growth, relationship building, mind body healing, Life Coaching and Meditation… ALL FOR F*R*E*E

Favorite Breakfast: Coconut Cloud Smoothie
Love this, have it every day after my green juice “cocktail”. I take young coconut meat, coconut water, and some jarred coconut “creme” plus a pinch of Himalayan salt (it’s pink!!) into my beloved new blender with a few ice cubes and poof this gorgeous creamy white concoction comes out…into my wine goblet it goes and I eat it with a spoon. Like ice cream for breakfast but way better.
Favorite Piece of Advice I’m Remembering This Week:
One of my many favorite teachers once wisely told me “Never take action from fear, only inspiration”. I love that. Don’t try to create when you’re in fear, worried about money or in a panic about something. That’s the time to feather your nest a bit more, pull your energy inwards and take extra loving care of yourself..add more nourishment.. stay connected to what fills you up. Make lists of what and who lights you up and reconnects you to your best self and hang out there. Immerse yourself in beauty and nature and with people who love you. The fog of fear will clear.. you’ll see your next right step in a flash or just the piece you need. It’s all unfolding in Divine Order..beautifully.
I hope you get to check out Colette’s new book “The Map”.. she’s brilliant (and she wears amazing jewelry) and I believe you’ll find powerful guidance in the book. And check me out amongst the amazing give-aways..they were so creative with this launch. See what you think here.

Lisa, I love the idea of sharing the things you love with others, especially to underscore your birthday. I especially liked the advice about not trying to create from fear. That is so true, although I hadn't thought about it that way before. I plan to pass that along to my clients!

Thanks for sharing your favorite things, Lisa! I must try that coconut concoction — but where on earth do you find fresh coconut meat and all the other goodies. And, I'm with Linda, my mentor said something very similar to me — only act from inspiration, not fear. Lovely, thanks for the reminder!
Happy Happy Birth Month to You!

Hi Linda – This really WAS about sharing and I always love doing that, birthday or not! Thanks for visiting
Melanie- the coconut smoothie is an amazing beautiful treat and getting the coconut is a challenge! I have a raw/vegan restaurant that sells frozen packs of the coconut so that's where I go, but I've recently found a couple of sites online that look like they sell the packages of frozen young coconut meat too. Try googling young thai coconut meat..or email me and I'll share. xox Lisa
