Who Wants Relief from overeating? (Plus some powerful resources and a super-smart and loving group of women)
One thing I’ve noticed about all of the women I’ve worked with over the years (how MANY years, Lisa? It’s 23, thanks for asking!)
They have a lot of shame about their eating. It tends to be a sort of “secret life”, and the shame often keeps them from getting the support they need to find freedom.
It’s a really vicious cycle.
What I know for sure (I love to pretend I’m Oprah!) is that you can’t get out of overeating without support, and that the support of a peer groups is often the most powerful. That feeling of finding out that others experience things the same way, do the same things, moves the shame right out, and can lead to a lot of laughing at the very things that used to make you cringe. Cringes to laughter, that’s a really good shift to make!
Lisa-
First of all, today is 2 weeks without a binge. I can’t remember the last time I went this long without bingeing and it feels amazing. I know I would not have been able to do it without your support.”

Nothing made me feel better when I was “in the food” than knowing other women (talented, wonderful women) did the same “shameful” things I did around eating and food.
The relief of that kind of sharing is the kind that can take you out of the shame, and into some positive steps.
That’s what’s happening in the Sanctuary-It’s not a big whine-fest- not at all. It’s a place to air out the stuff that is triggering your overeating so that you can find solutions that work.
And it’s fun! Really!
Working with Lisa has made me realize and admit to myself many things in my past that have contributed to my eating disorder. Working through these issues isn’t easy but it is comforting to have someone that is willing to listen, offer advice, and help me sort through all of it. Lisa has opened my eyes to other ways of looking at things and healthy alternatives to deal with my feelings other than with food.

Even for all of you who totally HATE JOINING THINGS!
I created the Sanctuary to be a place you would really like joining, so you could get relief, so you could stop eating, so you could dump off a few pounds of shame, and get lots of support while taking loving care of your beautiful self.
This is the perfect solution for you if you aren’t ready for or can’t afford to begin more individual coaching. Or even if you can- nothing beats community when you have been feeling all isolated and mad at yourself. Our members are the best- PLUS, you’ll get LOTS of individual coaching (every day if you want it) and really specific tips and strategies. People are blown away by how much contact with me and my sensational-smarts they get on our forum. I love hanging out there- it’s fun and interesting and it lets me think on my feet which I really enjoy.
You will be all filled up with good stuff- ideas, support, love when you need it, a little push if that’s more helpful, you will get what you came for, that I can promise you.
If you can get over the “I hate joining things” or ” I have no intention of sharing my eating weirdness with other people” you won’t regret it. And for the price, it’s kind of an amazing deal. Really.
If you think this would be a good fit for you, you can read more about membership in the Sanctuary here!
wishing you love and every blessing,
xox
