When the Big Cleanup finds you… rise.

In my own life, and in those of others, I have seen many signs when a Big Cleanup comes to call. I almost hold my breath watching.. as they (or I) am asked to release release and release.. To let go of all of the known and familiar, all of the props and comfort.. all of the pieces we believe define us or protect us. And one by one, and often in a short time, they are taken, things blow up. Leaving us shell shocked, devastated, adrift, unmoored, floating in the river forgetting that the river knows its destination. And of course this is (to use a different metaphor entirely) where we are honed in the Fire. Everything that needs to go is burned off and we are polished in a new strength and physicality. And nobody wants this. We are terrified, grief-stricken, angry, and bewildered. And yet, these are the times that change everything. When the Ashes are everywhere, and you can barely see thru the soot.. know you will Rise.. that the new beginnings are there somewhere in the rubble, and you will have what you need within to find them if you choose.
