I’ve been cleaning up my morning… always an early-riser, in love with the morning.
I have not stayed true to my typical devotional practices as consistently as I know serves me… And that is changing. Sometimes we ebb and flow… don’t get caught in the judgment and the “why.” these are the moments to start over, again and again… with an open heart, with a beautiful intention (vs shame, guilt, etc)… create an intention for your practice.
Surrender the day
I start my rituals on the floor, forehead to earth… in prayer.. it all starts there for me.. I surrender, I pray, I give thanks, I give it all over to the Divine… and from there I am ready.
My morning practice at its best is always a mix~prayer, energy/chakra clearing, yoga, chanting/meditation… and writing. I don’t always get it done at the same time, especially if getting to morning yoga class which is most mornings at this point… so I’m OK with divvying it up.
It’s not about perfection
This is not about perfection, it’s about making it work, staying focused and intentional, allowing yourself to take actions that refill and renew your body and spirit to take you thru your day in the ways that you are meant to.
Knowing that you are using your own attention, body, intention to take beautiful care of yourself, in and of itself, will begin to create a shift.
Join me at the table
Want some ideas? Some specific practices, some guidance, some inspiration and encouragement? Most of us need it, and do better with it, especially in community.
Hearth And Table is coming (late August). Starting in intimate community, less than 50, there will be daily practices and experiences available to you, monthly individual coaching, specific days of week rituals (some that align with the planets, Like Sun day, Moon Day.. ) … clearing and cleansing … devotion, to self and the Divine… writing workshops… more.
We will create together, and separately.
I believe this is a beautiful investment in your self… to fill your self with MORE of your self… good medicine, more beauty, more connection.
