Beauties~
We’re all exhausted on some or many levels, depleted… wrung out.. bored in some ways and too amped up in others.. It’s not a good state for our precious selves.
Try this..
We could all use a little right-brained diversion.
How bout pulling out all your art supplies and playing for a bit.. just scribble or make lines or washes of color. Or make a card for somebody or write a quote you love.
How about tending your plants, pruning leaves and getting that dirt smell on your hands and telling them how much you love them and really LOOK at them (and maybe draw the leaves as part of your playing with crayons and such)?
How about finding a new recipe… or making an old favorite and just immersing yourself in creating some delicious thing, with music playing and a little kitchen dancing because it feels good and reminds you who of you truly are?
How about sitting down to write… get on the floor.. cozy up with some pillows and cushions and (music again) and a nice pen and just write whatever is in your heart or in your body… or ask the deepest part of yourself what it would love for you to know today?
How about taking a little walk and trying to stay as focused as you can in your senses… not let your mind run wild.. but notice ever color, listen for every sound of every bird, smell what is on the wind, notice the feeling of the ground meeting the soles of your feet?
Refresh your senses… come into the feeling and the seeing and the tasting of things. let the weary thoughts abate for a bit… come in to your body and into all of the miracles that live there..
