Addictions are made of habits that cause you pain, that come at a price. Rituals… are very different and bring powerful healing. Rituals and routines and practices can heal addiction and addictive patterns…
Because they take something that feels small… that isn’t… that creates a foundation, and a shift, and momentum… and and and a new identity, way of seeing yourself… that is pretty much always better from the stale stuck limited ways we often see ourselves.
They are sort of elevated habits. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Specific acts that support you in some way, done with intention, with awareness, with love, and presence. And for me with an awareness of them as a sacred act. Bringig all of these pieces to something, make them sacred, right?
They are practiced in regular ways. Sometimes at particular times of day… and… can be in any area of your life. They are the opposite of addiction and that kind of habit.
Rituals of adornment, of healing, of nourishment, of writing, of movement, of connection.
Take your pick… Rituals change the way you move through your day and the way you embody the moment and the choices there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Doesn’t that sound good?!
They are not just about taking action. This is about the intention, presence and energy that you imbue these choices with… there is a difference.
This is not another to-do list… even though it is focused on doing something.. It’s about how you do it. How you bring yourself to the moment, an act of love that you BESTOW upon yourself… it’s a shift in the energy…
